People living in indigenous tribal areas across the United States, and the rural communities around them, often face significant challenges accessing quality care. Providing a sustainable way of delivering medical training and support to health care professionals serving these areas is an ongoing issue, but some organizations have pioneered practices to bridge professional development gaps and improve patient care. One organization, Arc Health, and their Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Jim Galloway, has developed novel partnerships with leading medical centers around the country to reinforce the level of care that patients in indigenous tribal areas receive.
